Pastor John Schindler

John Schindler is a gifted communicator of God’s grace and love through song.

His music and evangelism ministry, John Schindler Ministries, has taken him throughout much of the United States and to Canada, plus to several countries overseas. His rich, dynamic voice and the messages in his songs have been said to be an inspiration to his listeners.

A pastor’s comment made following his concert typifies the response, “John effectively communicated the greatness of God in a warm, personal way.  I came away from the concert having been touched in my soul with the greatness of God.”

A baritone, Schindler has recorded 13 CDs including the most recently released, “Calvary Covers It All.”   John grew up in Liberia, West Africa, a son of missionary parents.  He has often gone back to Liberia and other nearby countries for evangelistic ministry there.  His physician father was the founder of the ELWA Hospital at Radio Station ELWA (Eternal Love Winning Africa).

A graduate of Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (MDiv) and Taylor University, John served as a church-planting pastor in Wisconsin. During his seminary training, he taught one year as a short-term missionary with SIM International at ECWA (Evangelical Church of West Africa) Bible College in Kagoro, Nigeria.

His heart’s desire is to see people from all backgrounds come to faith in Christ.

Thomas Davidsmeier

Tom Davidsmeier is a frequent preacher at Country Evangelical Covenant Church as well as a preacher and Elder at Christ Fellowship Church in Naperville.

While earning a degree in Physics at Illinois Wesleyan University he met his wife, Rebecca. They have nine children and together they host the annual Illinois ScriptureFest in the spring, and a National Bible Bee Local Group in the summer at Country Evangelical Covenant. Thomas was stunned when God called him out of the tech industry to become a high school teacher over twenty years ago. Soon he had acquired a Masters in Teaching at Olivet Nazarene University. Four years ago, he was not surprised when God gave him the opportunity to start preaching and teaching in Christian congregations.

Over the time between, the Lord prepared Thomas with the skills he would need and the deep desire to share and explain the Word of God. While degrees in Physics and Education would not seem applicable to preaching, the Good Lord knew exactly what He was doing. Physics taught Thomas logic, reasoning, and how to apply ideas in the real world. He brings this skill with him into the pulpit. Over the years, he has taught science to thousands of students for tens of thousands of hours.

Through these experiences, God has given him an overflowing toolbox of tactics and techniques to help others understand the difficult concepts and challenging ideas of the Bible.  John has also written and published several Epic Christian Fantasy books in the vein of JRR Tolkien and CS Lewis.  Thomas Davidsmeier books
