I have been a member of CCEC for eleven years, which is when I married Dan and transferred my membership from another church. April 1st marks eight years for me since I had stage four colon cancer. I am truly blessed to have such a loving, giving church family that supported me, prayed for me, and cared for me when I was going through my treatments. I wish that everyone that attends this church feels God's love from our members like I do and did.
I feel privileged to work with the youth of our church and the wonderful teachers who help provide them with examples of God's love. I grew up in a Christian home, my dad was a pastor, so faith was a integral part of my daily life. In high school I recommitted my life to Christ, giving Him my burdens and the control of my life. In college I taught Sunday school to the 5th and 6th grade class and found a deeper love for kids and for teaching them about God. I felt God's calling to be a nurse and I love being able to serve Christ in that way. I am excited to be able to help our youth have experiences like these in their life, to feel and hear God and His plan for their lives.
